Nvidia has made a major announcement in the field of GPUs, claiming that their new GeForce RTX Series 40 graphics cards based on the Ada Lovelace architecture are the biggest jump forward in energy efficiency yet, with consumption reduced by three times compared to the previous generation. These new solutions, which are aimed at laptops with screens larger than 14 inches, also offer impressive performance, including ray tracing capabilities and full support for DLSS 3, a machine learning algorithm that improves frame rate. Nvidia believes that a 14-inch laptop with one of these new GPUs can be up to two times faster than a PlayStation 5, but with a size of only a sixth of it.
