“A lot of clients try to do loft conversions with roofing companies during the winter, and while it’s possible to protect from the rain, it’s challenging to protect workers from heat loss,” says contractor Ross Malone of Orchestrate. “I would also avoid roofing projects as fiberglass doesn’t work in low temperatures.”
