There are a few things you can try to increase the speed of your iPhone. Here are a few steps you can try:
- Restart your iPhone: Sometimes, restarting your device can help improve its performance. To restart your iPhone, press and hold the power button (the one on the right side or top of your device) until you see the “slide to power off” option. Then, slide the power off slider to the right to turn off your iPhone. To turn it back on, press and hold the power button again until you see the Apple logo.
- Update your iPhone’s software: Out-of-date software can cause your device to run slowly. To check for and install any available updates, go to Settings > General > Software Update. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install it.
- Free up storage space: If your iPhone is low on storage space, it can run more slowly. To check how much storage space you have left, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. If you see that you don’t have much space left, you can try deleting some apps or files that you no longer need.
- Close background apps: When you switch between apps on your iPhone, the apps you aren’t using are suspended in the background. Over time, these background apps can use up resources and slow down your device. To close background apps, double-click the home button to see all of your recently used apps. Then, swipe up on the app previews to close them.
