Deleting your Instagram account is a permanent process that cannot be reversed, so be sure that you really want to delete your account before proceeding.
To delete your Instagram account, you can follow these steps:
- Open the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android device.
- Tap on the profile icon in the bottom right corner to go to your profile.
- Tap on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner, then tap on “Settings” at the bottom of the menu.
- In the Settings menu, tap on “Account” and then tap on “Delete Your Account” at the bottom of the screen.
- You will be asked to select a reason for why you want to delete your account. Once you have selected a reason, tap on “Permanently delete my account.”
- Enter your password when prompted, and then tap on “Permanently delete my account” to confirm.
Please note that after you delete your account, you will not be able to recover it, and all of your posts, comments, likes, and followers will be permanently removed. You should only delete your account if you are sure that you want to permanently remove your presence from Instagram
